Reviews of Crystal Plaza Al Majaz Hotel
Nice place. We ate for aed79 - 2 persons, the restaurant has good food, very nice and peaceful ambiance!
The place is a premium standard above 5 star hotel, had it pool on top of the building, nice and lovely rooms well spaced, and the Hallway is wonderful with the floor rug.
Location is great.. 10 mins walk from warer front and beach. Restaurants and Supermarkets are on walking distance.
Hotel needs little maintenance like business centre, restaurant should smell nice.
Rooms are spacious.. Bathrooms are clean. Staff is dealing very nicely and professionaly. I had a good time in Crystal Plaza Hotel..
The location is great and the hotel is close to almost all you need during your visit to Sharjah.
The towels were smelly, they need to be replaced. I called the reception ma y times but no one answers.
Overall, i recommend the hotel for a short visit and if you r not looking for a fancy place.
For the price you pay, it deserves 4 stars..
However this place needs improvement!!
Rooms are good.. customer service is ok, you always have to chase them though..
Friendly staff..
Location is great in Sharjah and parkin spaces included woth your room..
I would say, despite everything I would say not bad, perhaps recommended as well..
Clean and tidy, friendly staff. We've stayed in a deluxe king room and it was spacious, tidy, not noisy, clean, offering nice services for a pleasant stay.
The hotel is very good but the location is a little bit confusing.
Had their dinner buffet. It was good with nice and tasty dishes. The salads were good. The main course had seafood, chicken, beef and mashed potatoes, biryani. The dishes were tasty. The desserts caramel, custard and cakes were yumm.
One of the most comfortable stays I ever had. People at the reception are very kind and helpful especially Sultan. I would give them all 5 star for hospitality. Very much recommended.
Everything is perfect in this hotel service rooms restroom foods location All is Fantastic
Crystal plaza al majaz Hotel is the number one hotel in Sharjah.I stayed at Crystal Palace Hotel more than 10 times. whenever I have time to go somewhere most things come to my mind that stay with Crystal Plaza to feel free and for fully rest.the room is very clean and soundproof.bed is very comfortable and the washroom is number one. In the room.they provides so many things but i like that katlle for coffee.i'm very happy to stay with Crystal plaza.
An old stereotype hotel, you will find anywhere throughout the middle east. Poor wify, broken bathroom fittings, stale of smoke and food, damp sticky carpet from the bronze age, unusually small pice of towels in the bathroom...
The list is endless. The staff however is friendly, and the location is apt if youbare a visitor in Dubai/ Sharjah.
Has a convenient store supermarket, just across the street.
A great place to stay for a long or short visit to sharjah.
It is located in Al-Khan road near Al-Qasba which is one if not the best location to visit in Sharjah.
The staff is helpful and they do care a lot about everything.
The prices are average comparing to other 4 stars hotels.
Their breakfast is great and have simple components that all breakfasts have.
The housekeeping is also great and clean.
Nice people all around the place.
It ia a recommended place to stay in.
the hotel is very good. lunch tomorrow is excellent. The service is also excellent, especially Sulthan and Baalu. well done. I will come again.
I stayed for 8 nights
I called 5 nights to replace dirty and smelly towels
Beside that their service is great the room is big and clean
Good hotel, delicious breakfast, some improvements needed for service time and washrooms need a shower curtain/ glass door.
It was a great experience staying at Crystal Plaza Al Majaz. Staffs are really nice. Parking is a convenience. Rooms are clean and cozy.
I gave 5star for the room cuz its huge but it need more maintained cleaning windows dirty toilet not good
The location is not the best, especially if you are on a business trip. However, everything else is superb 👌
Located near most of the restaurants and markets. You don't want hotel food, just roam around and eat what you like! Amazing location.
I liked everything except that the door key looses charge if kept with mobile.
Hotel is good, service is moderate, restaurant is not at an accepted level. I have stayed 1 month and all this time it was the same list of foods, and a very short list.
Reception Staff Sampath was very polite & helpful. The staffs are respectful, well-mannerd & professional.
great clean hotel staff is very helpful and mr sampat very friendly and very corporative and Prabhu is handle it perfectly
Highly recommended and customers service
Food was good, options were there for both veg and non veg. Nice facility
Average cleanliness, and internet is not stable, cannot depend on it for work-related issues.
Fair value for money.

I have written everything down point by point so that it is clear.||Location: excellent, there are many shops, supermarkets and food outlets nearby. The only downside is that the beach is far away, a 40-minute walk (we never made it on foot, we took a taxi a couple of times for 13.5 dirhams one way), but there is a transfer. ||Transfer: 50/50. They take you to the beach once a day (pick you up from the hotel at 9:30, pick you up from the beach at 12:30). The hotel is close to Dubai, so getting there on your own was also no problem. It cost 45 dirhams by taxi to the nearest metro station. If you take a transfer from the hotel, it comes out to $20 per person, so it is cheaper to do it yourself.||Food: excellent. We were at breakfast and we had everything we needed - there were fresh and boiled vegetables, local snacks, pastries, natural coffee, an omelet and boiled eggs, rice with vegetables or pasta with vegetables as a main dish. I really liked the pancakes with vegetables and spicy samsa. Also very tasty fruits (they gave melon, apples, watermelon, oranges). You can't take it out, but we didn't try. In general, we never left hungry.||Cleanliness: leaves much to be desired. It is obvious that the staff is trying, but the carpet in the hallway and in the room could do with dry cleaning, as well as all the furniture. Initially, it seemed that the hotel was clean, but when you look closely, you realize that not enough attention was paid to thorough cleaning. The same is in the bathroom, you can find stains and traces of something black (possibly mold). Also very dirty windows, you can hardly see anything out of them.||Service: good. The rooms are cleaned every day, but you can hang a "Do not disturb" sign and order cleaning every two days, as we did. We left a tip to see the difference in cleaning. After leaving 5 dirhams, they left 3 bottles of water and a little more cups, coffee and tea. After 10 dirhams, they left 4 bottles of water and even more of everything. Towels and bed linen are changed regardless of the tip, but if you do not leave anything, they will bring you only two 0.5 water. It was not particularly important to us, since we bought our own water, but it was still nice. Together with water and cups, they put instant Nescafe coffee, Lipton tea, powdered milk and plastic spoons. As for the reception, the staff there is very polite, they did not refuse any request, but they did not really contact us. Everyone speaks English. || Comfort: we took a deluxe - a good room, but old, on the 5th floor. The bed is comfortable, the TV works so-so. The mirror in the bathroom was damaged, but not critical. The minibar is empty, but there is, and works well. A good safe and plenty of space for things. View of the hotel canopy. Good curtains that block out light, but with traces of holes from ash.||Hotel infrastructure: there is a restaurant (where breakfasts are served), a swimming pool (on the roof), a gym and a sauna (never been). The restaurant is in the style of the 90s. Once we took it for lunch to try the food, we didn’t really like it, I recommend taking it in the cafes nearby for the same money. The pool is good, the water is 29 degrees, the maximum depth is 180 cm, there is a section for children. There is a smoking area with tables near the pool. We didn’t get into the gym and sauna, since the visiting hours for women and men are different (women in the morning and afternoon, men in the evening).||Wi-fi: a router was installed in the room, so the Internet was great, better than in our country, 5g works. ||Atmosphere: a nice quiet hotel, fully consistent with its price category. The interior is a bit old, but it has its place.||Recommendations: immediately upon arrival, ask for an adapter for charging, as the sockets there are of a different type, you will be given one at the reception without any problems. It is better to buy water yourself, as the one given out at the hotel will not be enough. Buy it in shops further from the hotel, you can find it at a good price (4 dirhams for 6 liters). As for food, if you, like us, are not close to the local cuisine, then a 10-minute walk from the hotel there is McDonald's, and in the other direction (also a 10-minute walk) Emirates Burger, there is very tasty food and smoothies from fresh fruits at good prices.
Hello, we stayed from 12/24/2024 to 01/01/2025. First of all, the rooms have dirty carpet, sofas with holes from cigarette butts, dirty, dirty windows, you can hardly see anything, there is no clothes dryer, no balcony either. The family room is a 2-bed room, the jacuzzi is filthy, I really wanted to wash it with bleach, the bedding needs to be beaten out of it, there are 6 of us and we had to remind ourselves all the time, the same with water, they cleaned once. The food is good, but the children did not go to breakfast and nothing can be taken out, although everything was paid for, the staff does not react in any way, there are no boxes, nothing, I repeat, I paid for the amount as for an adult. The worst of the hotels, the area is very dirty 3-4 km to the beach that's for sure, taxis are trying to deceive. transfer 11.30 and 12.30 back from the beach, and if you have dinner only then only a taxi, in the morning they almost fight to get to the sea.
This is not the first time at this hotel, an excellent option near the industrial zone for those flying for work. Delicious breakfasts, attentive staff, the guy at the reception Sam was especially pleased!👌🏻
Very nice hotel, high-class service, and close to the Arab Administrative Development Organization. 6 minutes away.
Good hotel, we were greeted hospitably, quickly checked into the room. The room is generally not bad, everything you need is there, shampoo and shower gel were replaced constantly, the room is spacious. We did not feel any foreign odors. Comfortable spacious and soft beds, as we like. The room is equipped with everything you need. The room was cleaned quite well, linen and towels were changed often. The hotel has a calm atmosphere, beautiful interior. The food is not bad, nothing special, but overall normal, everything is fresh, the staff was polite and friendly. It is a long walk to the beach, but there is a transfer from the hotel, for us the time was inconvenient, so we most often went back by taxi, no savings)) If by taxi then the beach, about 10 minutes. The beach is clean and spacious, we liked it. The hotel also has its own pool, everything you need is there, the pool was clean, there were not many people there, so everything is fine overall. There is nothing special to do in the hotel, on recommendation we found a group on excursions to Sharjah in Telegamma, we liked the desert. There are also many different shops in the vicinity of the hotel, you can walk and buy souvenirs, and not only. And in general, this is a good area, we walked with pleasure. Since we are in the country for the first time, we were impressed by the locals and the local color. We got a pleasant experience from staying in the country. In general, the stay at the hotel can be rated as a solid 4. The hotel is in the budget category, so you do not have to wait much and the mood will be great. Thanks to the hotel staff for their hospitality.
Crystal Palace Hotel is located in an area with restaurants, markets, and various transportation options. The best thing about it is the information manager (repair), Mr. Sam, and all the hotel staff. The hotel is also comfortable, clean, and quiet. I am thinking of returning to the hotel again. Best regards. Sattara Ali
Not a bad hotel in the city. The room is clean, they cleaned the room and changed the towels every day. We had breakfasts and dinners - the food was good (we were not hungry), breakfasts - eggs, porridge, yogurts, pastries, dinner - chicken, beef, fish, vegetables, desserts, etc. The store is across the road, next to the vegetable store, the embankment is within walking distance for walking, currency exchange offices. It is inconvenient to get to the beach - either a bus from the hotel (which is impossible to get into), we used a taxi - 2 dirhams km. To the beach about 13-15 dirhams. Of the minuses, they did not collect breakfast upon departure.
