Reviews of Souk Al Marfa
It’s a nice place to buys lots of stuff.
It’s a souq (Arabic market) inspired place with modern architecture of marketplace.
It’s still unexplored hence only few people knows and are going to this place.
Also, it’s really a huge marketplace being the largest souq in 🇦🇪 UAE, and lots of empty stores and establishments still.
Situated in one of the iconic reclaimed and man made island with good view of the nearby sea.
Lots of parking spaces and huge food court offering many dishes around the globe not only arabic or middle eastern food.
Souq Al Marfa is an impressive destination, known for its cleanliness, vastness, and ample parking facilities. However, it's worth noting that many shops remain closed. On the plus side, there's a supermarket with competitive prices, making your shopping experience convenient. This market shares similarities with Dragon Mart.
It's a massive market, massive parking lots, many stores are not yet opened, but it's really good views on the back side.
Some what like dragon mart, or may me closed ound bazar from 20 years back.. which is closed and neatly arranged..
Shops, cafe, restaurants, supermarket, play area.
Water front area is good to take pictures and enjoyable to walk with families..
I love this place.. i hope more shop will open soon.
Items on this place are cheaper than other markets.. The most I love on this place is their Asian Food court or rather I say Thai/Malaysian/Filipino Food Court.. Asian dishes can be found here.. plus there are lots Korean Store to visit and buy korean products.
Very new place for bargain prices and all kind shopping under one roof.
many shops yet to open but beautifully designed, decorated and with pleasant ambience.
largest souk in the heart of the city with largest parking area.
Public transportation Route SM1 serves from Gold Souq Bus Stn to here and vice-versa in every hour.
Had a wonderful experience. There's a play area for kids, Restaurants, pets shop, Peaceful place to relax and there's a ferry station as well!
The place is very beautiful and worth a visit. Its location is on the sea. There are many shops, especially Thai shops and restaurants
Located in Deirah Island Dubai, near to waterfront Market, you can find many different shops from different country their is also wholesale stores, many good restaurants, A lot of free parking around now, Public transportation Route SM1 serves from Gold Souq Bus Stn to here and vice-versa in every hour.now they are start marine transport, now available free service for 5 months in weekends ferry is available al gubaiba to souk al Marfa normal days abra (boat) services
It's a newly added largest waterfront market and shopping destination of Deira island of Dubai, developed by NAKHEEL and DP WORLD. Other than the location inside the mall structures reminded me Dragon Mart. I believe - near future it will become one of the busiest mall. Amenities: Huge parking area, food courts, food truck, street food zone, prayer area, uncountable shops with cheap price and variety of everything you need even whole sellers also available to buy bulk quantity, fully air-conditioned. The attractive part is Free Abra/water bus service provided by Nakheel & RTA from Marfa to Bur Dubai is really enjoyable. Book your return token before you get into this free ride, otherwise you have to come back by bus or taxi during weekends and public holidays. The Souq area is not fully operational as a lot of shops are yet to open. Of. Course there is plenty of shops as of now to enjoy a great shopping experience. I will recommed to visit a fine afternoon or evening with your loved one or family to this nice place. Thanks to Nakheel.
Its a souq market like a open market good to go during winter season ,place is surrounded by sea where u can take also a boat ride from souq al marfa to burdubai
The new Souq at Deira Island is finally open. It will eventually be vast (think Dragon Mart). Currently, only a small section is open and functioning. I saw stores selling all kinds of things, a Chinese food court, a children's play area, a marina, art/graffiti and lots of string lights. There is no covered parking outside, but inside is air-conditioned. An evening visit for the next few months...
I would highly recommend to visit as this will become dragon mart standard once all the shops are opened, the only difference is its more organized and newer and everything is divided by zones. Plenty of parking and still not many people know the place so you can get good deals. Plenty of high copy products but the prices are very high as well.
Coolest mall with lots of parking.. good Hypermarket bismi) is there -mall will develop soon
A hidden Gem of Deira a must visit if you want to buy some souvenirs, really awesome instagramable place with reasonable prices
The place was good last year but now the shops are almost all closed, if your looking for some dress and fancy items can find there for cheap prices
Nice place to visit. RTA ferry service available from Al Gubaiba Marine transport station . RTA Small boat available from Deira Old souk Abra station and buses from Gold souq Bus station.
Nice place to visit and shop. There are multiple shops with different items. This market is an another version of Dragon mart or something like that.
Very nice new destination to explore further near Deira Island. They have wide range of shopping right from your daily necessities to whole sale shopping too. Loved it
Lots of shops like Dragon mart there.
Shops, cafe, restaurants, supermarket, play area for kids are there.
Water front area is good to take pictures and enjoyable to walk with families..there is a ferry station as well.
The souk is large with lots of shops. The prices are reasonable and variety of food and daily use items are available. The wash room I visited was dirty hence 4 Stars.
Had dinner with my family and had authentic taste of Thai food esp the Phad Thai😉
Still shops opening, not much crowded
Very good place for family visit, shopping with bargains and having variety of delicious food. Its huge and very well maintained.
Wow! Quite neat and best place to be around. Its just by waterfront deira.
The newest shopping experience in Deira...adjacent to the waterfront mall. Access via bus or water boat......still a lot of development waiting to happen there
The mall need a lot of activity to get it busy, nice location and place
Found one of the coolest coffee spots in the UAE, father and son working together towards a common goal. They’re also coffee traders and own coffee farms in South America, offer delicious pastry from Sweden, are very friendly and the atmosphere is very welcoming too.
Very peacefully and good ambience for shopping and lot of parking slot is there
Massive markets, air-conditioned and eternal in size.
Souk Al Marfa offers a unique shopping experience set against the backdrop of picturesque waterfront views. Nestled along the bustling harbor, this market provides a charming blend of traditional souk ambiance and modern amenities. From vibrant stalls offering local crafts and souvenirs to diverse culinary options, Souk Al Marfa is a treasure trove for visitors seeking authentic Emirati flavors and cultural delights. Its waterfront location adds to the allure, providing a serene escape amidst the vibrant energy of the city. Whether exploring the bustling market or simply enjoying the scenic surroundings, Souk Al Marfa promises a memorable experience unlike any other.
All the shops are not yet opened, good place for wholesale prices.
That was amazing experience at restaurants and Dubai's biggest whole sale market souk Al marfa at Deira island 🏝️
Awesome place for chill out n shopping 🛍️
SOUK AL MARFA is a recently opened market in Deira Islands. Most of the shops are still not opened. I felt the market is similar like Dragon mart. Bargaining is possible. Rates are bit higher.
Very good place .. free rides ...
Good to find very affordable grocery items for bulk purchase..
The area is filled with a vast array of small shops, each offering a unique and diverse range of goods and services. From restaurants serving up delicious cuisine, to mobile phone shops providing the latest devices and accessories, and stores selling imported goods from around the world, there is truly something for everyone here. In addition, there are shops offering pet supplies, textiles, clothing, toys, and a range of food options.
The marina walk is a particular highlight of the area, offering stunning views of the water and a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. Visitors can take a leisurely stroll and enjoy the scenery, or simply sit back and take in the sights and sounds of the bustling waterfront.
The area is also known for its regular events, with small-scale activities taking place on a weekly basis and larger events occurring on a monthly basis. These events provide an opportunity for visitors to experience the lively energy of the area and to engage with the local community.
In summary, the area is a vibrant and diverse destination, offering a wide range of shops, services, and attractions to suit all tastes and interests. The marina walk and regular events provide an extra dimension to the area, making it a popular spot for tourists and locals alike. With so much to explore and discover, it is a must-visit destination for anyone in search of a unique and exciting experience
Many shops,no good collection.
Taxi fare meter starts from 12 AED too much compared to the normal fare.
Beautiful place. Amazing architecture. There are few shops are opened. Still there is alot of retail spaces are vacant. Very less visitors. Might be in future all the spaces will be filled with some nice shops and cafes.
Had a wonderful experience. There's a play area for kids, restaurants and Peaceful place to relax. And only 10aed required for the kids play area.
This is a newly developed Island for shopping and entertainment . Main attractiveness of this place very calm and quite and the place is away from the city.
It's an indoor souk. Spacious and We'll maintained. Lot of small shops are here with affordable rates. Most of the shops are moble shops, Toys , ready made garments, Bed sheets, Cafeteria, Ice cream shops etc.
Lots of parking spaces are available.
The waterfront souk has a daily night market throughout the month of Ramadan with Majlis tents featuring Arabic sweets and relaxing lounges.
Bismi cash and carry have wide range of grocery with very affordable prices than any other supermarket.
Still new. Many shop has come here. But due to lack of customers the market isn't lively yet.
There is a very big yard behind the mall in where different exhibition goes on now and often.
Also there is a jetty from where you can ride boats, go to Dubai Land.
Nice place to explore. Only limited shops are available. Bismi Market near by with offers
Located on Deira islands. Easily accessible off Khaleej street with some diversions.
There is RTA ABRA station also to reach there.
Started maybe a year back. Still not much crowded. Looks like mini version of Dragon mart.
Still evolving market.
It has a good number of shops for retail and wholesale goods for all household needs. Prices are reasonable..maybe cheaper for some things in wholesale shops.
Few pet shops are also there.
Some Open shops had no shopkeeper present 🙃.. can happen only in UAE 🙏
Has an area for street food and some restaurants and a small kids play area.
Good to spend a few hours for shopping and eating under one roof.
Overall a good experience.
Its improving. It looked empty during Ramadan, but now it looks worth checking out. I saw some good stores to buy clothes from. The stores looked different, reasonable and creative.
Nice place to explore shops. We clicked so many pictures especially in carpet shop. They have beautiful variety of carpet.
Must visit Cafe Nargun.. amazing ambiance with amazing food ... Bubble tea & boba tea is a must try😍 loved their momos as well👌
This place includes a bunch of shops a river side view to sit n relax and a food corner also . You can try different thai goods from the foood corner .shoe , clothing , electronic , toys and many more are available on the stores . Ample parking area available
Beautiful place, nice promenade, lots of shops, cafes, museum, kids play area, just generally cool place to roam around, they often have interesting events on, and my favourite twist ice cream) It is a bit remote though, but easy to get in and not busy. I think you can also take abra to get there.
Beautiful place to eating street food
All shops have not yet been opened. But nice ambience
Very amazing place in feature because you will find everything in one place and easy to access. I went first time but i love it. Everywhere food is available from beginning Pakistani, indian cafeteria's are there. For garments a lot of variates of shop are there. Chinese food have also big variates of hotels.
Its same same like dragon mart. All the time there is inside 🚖🚕. Very big are for parking. Good place for family shopping.
Souk Al Marfa is the largest market in the heart of Dubai located on the Dubai creek, created in partnership between Nakheel Malls and DP World, the leading provider of worldwide smart end-to-end supply chain logistics.
Souk Al Marfa, an all-new wholesale marketplace, has opened in Dubai.
Located at Deira Islands, a stone’s throw from Dubai’s oldest trading hubs, the indoor marketplace from developer Nakheel boasts 400 shops stocking everything from carpets, lights, spices, fashion, electronics, and more.
And over the next coming weeks, over 1,000 shops are set to open with even more planned towards the end of the year, making Souk Al Marfa the UAE’s largest wholesale souk and waterfront market.
The opening of Souk Al Marfa is an exciting milestone for the UAE, Dubai and Nakheel, bringing us a step closer to cementing Dubai’s position as the world’s third-largest re-exporting hub. Souk Al Marfa provides affordable growth opportunities to traders across the country, with the potential to ship and import directly to its shops and pavilions, and promises a diverse.
Its too huge and shops are all over the place. Markings are not good. It would be better if each category are in one area, example garments in one section, perfumes in seperate area, electronic in seperate area
Visit the amazing newly build attraction of the Dubai - Dubai Islands.
Visit this place with family, kids and friends for throwing some quality time and energised sunset by the bay of abras and ships.
Great place for affordable shopping! Many cute small businesses here! Way to help the local small business community, with good products. Good affordable places to eat as well.
Very good place, not many people since its new, the food was good and cheap!, And it's similar to china mall but more modern and better! Everything you need you could get for cheap
Spacious and there is there lot of counters which provides stationary and all. There is open spaces where family can gather together
Very nice area i visit this place. but need advertising here at least people see and come. need more advertising
Souq not a mall. Poor food options
One of the best place in UAE for purchasing various varieties of goods. Different types of delicious foods also available here... Its a good place for a weekend exploring..
Nice place for chilling out during evening time and also can do very good basic shopping
Not fully functional. No crowds at all. Reminded me of Dragon mart. Affordable Asian restaurants. Not exactly recommended.
Best place to get installed car music systems, android car monitors, get your car tinted, special offers on toshiiba tv visit Darwani electronics..
Big parking area easy acces to all shops all items are available but prices are high.
Souk al Marfa situated in deira islands dubai.
Free boat service avilable from deira old souk water taxi station(deira) and dubai old souk water taxi station(bur dubai) after 5:00 pm Everyday(for 6 months only)
There are lot of shops such as cofee shops, restaurants, textiles, perfumes, birds shops, stationary shops, printing&designing shops
Etc
Wash room,Food court, prayer rooms are available.
Still need a lot of improvement, many shops are still off and only 50-60% of shops occupied.
Plenty of nice restaurants and shops. The Thai massage was the highlight for me.
Good place to visit in off season... Food court from global village shifted here👍
A large market - air conditioned - overlooking the port - there are many shops that are not open - and the current shops are diverse and similar to the shops in the Global Village and Dragon - such as electrical appliances, food, clothes, perfumes, tobacco, shoes, bags, etc. - Restaurants Thai and Indian miniatures and some keffiyehs - parking is widely available and currently free - there is a prayer room for women and men - toilets - some of the goods are not priced - they are available Cash and card payment service - Wholesale purchases are possible - Prices are cheap compared to co-ops and malls - Some shows are held - The place is not crowded - There are several entrances to the market - I suggest the following: reorganizing the shops in the market so that each entrance has a section - and opening coffee shops and restaurants Marofa - advertising the place to stimulate trade - pricing goods - allocating an entrance for children’s games - providing carts to carry goods - moving and closing shops located in areas near Naif Market and... Change it to this market - add an entertainment place -
A very beautiful market, far from the city, and it has most of the Thai products, including food and other things, and some phone accessories stores, bags and watches stores, and children’s and adults’ clothes, and the prices are reasonable.
There are also perfume shops and Thai restaurants...
A large wholesale hypermarket called (Basmi) has very special prices and is affordable for everyone
Just a note on the port market, only 40% of the shops are open and most of them are closed and not rented
Although the market is very beautiful and its location is mind-blowing
Large spaces, parking and clean bathrooms.
I advise everyone to visit it. It is really worth a visit
Although the place has not yet been fully opened (shops), it is a special, beautiful, and soul-opening place. It has items, goods, and restaurants of all kinds, and the prices are excellent. They have a special section for Thai Asian food, and the arrangement and parking are all excellent.
New Asian market
One part of it is open and the other part remains
Some stores are open. It takes time for the stores to be completed
In principle, the market is beautiful and in the future it will be even better
