Food was awesome, place is packed with people. Everything is nice especially the free flow freshly baked bread, plate of refreshing veg and kunafah… kunafah so well executed and hummus tasty and smooth. Coming from Houston Texas and eating this fantastic food makes our trip to Dubai an amazing experience. Clean and following all the protocols. Food is excellent - authentic Syrian food. This review is specifically for the Dubai branch and not for Sharjah; Pros - - Excellent, lively atmosphere. Huge outdoor seating. - Friendly and prompt service. - Good quantity without compromise on quality - Fresh, tasty food even at late night hours Cons - - No card payments. Only cash. However, I didn't reduce any stars for this because they mentioned it while seating us and also it is clearly mentioned on their menu as well.

Sulaiman took such great care of me, my first time eating Syrian food. He recommended me roti kebab and hummous for my first meal and kebab for my second day. Both completely outstanding meals, coming with complimentary water, bread and salad that are meals on their own. Could not recommend more!

One of the top Syrian restaurants in Dubai. Yummy arabic grills, hot breads, awesome juices, sweets and what not. Located on Sheikh Zayd road, this restaurant has a seating capacity of more than 500 or 600+ I believe. Not sure. Huge outdoor seating as well as indoor arrangements. Average price comes to approx AED 50 minimum per head for a decent lunch or dinner.

Food is good most of the time Daily dish must be changed it’s been awhile same menu and always served cold specially the lentil soup and the main dish . Need to add music in terrace to change the mood of guest . Arabic pickles ( cucumber) is always so salty must be addressed to the chef .

Aroos Damascus in Al Muraqqabat Street in Deira - One of the best Mediterranean / Lebanese / Egyptian cuisine food. Loved it! 😋 They've good outdoor dearing option, more than 300 tables totally - you can walk in anytime! Not costly at all, worth the money you spend. According to me - this is where you get the best Hummus in Dubai. I'm a vegetarian, and they had a lot of options for vegetarian too. Here's what I recommend for veg - Chickpea Hummus with Garlic & Parsley Flavour, Muhammara (Dip made out of Walnuts, Bell pepper and tomatoes), Baba Ghanoush (Roasted eggplant dish), Falafel (Deep fried ground chickpea fritter), Fluffy Pita bread (They keep serving unlimited of these), Batata Hara (Lebanese style Spicy fried potatoes) & traditional Arabic dessert Kunafa (with cheese).

Best Middle Eastern food 😋😋😋 Above Review ☝🏼of mine was 5 years ago… Latest review is here 👇🏼 I have been visiting Dubai since 1994 and have been going to Aroos Damascus since 2004 which was my first visit to this restaurant and now must have gone there over 40 times… On Sat 22 June went again for dinner with my family. Ordered my usual Hummus, Garlic Paste, Mutton Arayes, Kebabs etc… We chose to sit inside the restaurant as it was hot outside. The food as usual was good… the taste of Hummus & Garlic paste has come down. Arayes & Kebabs were same as before and outstanding. Service was not good and has gone down… Waiters are unresponsive now, Bald manager who is an old fixture here now seems to be stressed out… Bill was in a bit high and in Arabic so we could not understand… and chose to just pay… Unnecessary loud music played inside which was a bit irritating! I will seek other restaurant options in future now…

The food was okay but the service annoyed me. They served big mineral water and sallad directly without telling us they were additional cost. They didn’t cost much though. We sat outdoor. When the food came, it started to be windy. I had hard time eating in a windy place, also I was freezing, it was a cloudy windy day and I didn’t have warm clothes. I asked if I could move indoor. The waiter wanted to keep us as his guests so he could get tips. So he insisted to let us stay outdoor and lied to me it was cold with AC indoor. He helped me to change the seat next to a bush so it could block the wind a bit. When I went to the toilet, it was a lot warmer indoor. If I sat indoor, I would have enjoyed the food more!

We ordered mixed grill here, quite expensive for the quantity and it's not bad. Ordered beef steak and it's not the steak I expected, didn't like it at all. They served cold rice 😔 so we asked them to atleast reheat but it took them ages to serve again. I understand 'coz they have lots of customers.. However, they could've managed well because there are lots of crews on duty. Appetizers are nice though, I love the pickles. The Kunafa was tasty also. The crews who attended us are very presentable and accommodating. They have space outside for those who prefer outdoors, it's a huge place and the seats are cozy inside. Overall, still a nice try..

The food is so delicious! We eat here every weekend! We order the (beans) foul with labneh and tahina, Manikish Zaatar, Manikish Kaskawan cheese open, the small vegetable platter, black tea with mint and Ayran yogurt drink. The bill is usually 60AED or so. The prices are good, food is hot and delicious and the service is always amazing!

Outdoor seating under drapery of lights! Open until 3am! Great food, all Mediterranean. And it’s pretty close by to the downtown core. We had falafel with fresh hummus, fresh pita bread, pickles, chicken flatbread (it was mouthwateringly great!) and fresh garlic and chilli paste which went perfectly with the hummus. Ended our dinner with suleman tea, it comes in a little glass and it’s sweet with hint of mint/lemon. Loved the whole experience!

Ordered for take away Chicken on Charcoal it had lovely charred taste, chicken was grilled to perfect and was soft and tender - it was served with flavorful pita in top, Fattoush Salad was also nice with crisp pita strips, Cheese manakish was nice its recommended to have it fresh from oven, hummus and garden salad was complimentary. It was a good experience. I use to come here since my childhood. The service is top notch. Ambience is great. Food taste great too. Only complaint is that with this price of mix grill their must be at least one lamb chop and some arayes. I could count the French fries (maybe 4-5). Chicken Tikka was bit sweetish. Meat was super tender and enjoyful to eat. Kabab and chicken wings were great. Overall a good experience just couple of dissatisfaction that might be no big deal for some.

A large Shami restaurant. The place is very spacious. You enter as if you are inside a children's school. It is very, very noisy, as if you are actually in a primary school. You cannot sit or speak and you cannot hear those with you at the table. Suitable for families accompanied by their children on an entertainment tour, eating and playing. It is not suitable for individuals or families without children or those who want a quiet and good place to eat. There is a large sweets section and the food is good, and there are children’s games in the restaurant as well. It overlooks the sea, but in the winter, but in the summer the glass is closed and you only see the sea.
