I had the pleasure of visiting this fantastic restaurant with a friend of mine. We went for a good catch up but didn’t expect to find such a culinary delight in the heart of Dubai Hills. Here is a Michelin style restaurant without the hefty Michelin prices. The ambience was relaxing and along with the top class service from our waiter, Hassan, we were transported into a haven of dishes that would make anyone’s mouth water. Eggplant and Cabbage, which are never on anyone's preferred choice of menu, were combined with the most delicious ingredients and enough to make anyone love vegetables again. The portion sizes were more than reasonable and the added extras such as the impressive knowledge of the waiter, Hassan, the presentation of the food, and the amazing attention to detail, were more than enough to visit this hidden gem again. I look forward to visiting with more friends as this is definitely a place you would visit again.

This restaurant has a loungy cozy feel, noting that we've been to it in the evening for dinner. The culinary experience is superb, i took a few minutes by the kitchen counter to see how the chefs are plating the food. And as we dined we tried many of their seafood dishes, all crafted with care and precision, showcasing the freshest ingredients. We started with the tuna ceviche, the yellowtail with black truffle, and the beef carpaccio; then we had the cod, the salmon, and the seabass. Every dish was delicious. The selection of desserts was short and not very intriguing. But I can't wait to go back for the ceviche. Highly recommend you try this place.

After reading all the reviews, i was intrigued to try this place however it did not live up to the expectations. First of all, the portions are extreeeemely tiny compared to the price & the taste is just not there.. we tried various dishes, the ceviche needed more ceviche😂 , the salmon was OKAY. The only highlight about this place was the tartare which was really good, rest is very average if not below. Waiter was extremely bad to be honest, he was so cold & barely answers ur questions. They even charge you for bread & butter which is really pathetic..

Tonight I had dinner in Duaa Gastrobar with my family. The foods were not only delicious, but it was fantastic. The vibe of the restaurant it was also so cool and it was fast service. They have many different kind of cuisines such as greek cuisine, Russian cuisine, Japanese cuisine and Italian cuisine. All the meals are so delicious. They also have many selection of drinks. The staffs are so professional, especially Hasan who served us. He was very friendly and definitely professional. Very highly recommended for all food lovers, we definitely coming back.

Absolutely everything was incredible in this little hidden gem at Dubai Hills Business Park. Starting with the service by Hassan - he really knew his stuff. Gave us the most perfect recommendations for white wine and explained everything in the menu in great detail. We opted for the cabbage with truffle for starters. I know, who eats cabbage, right? But this was absolutely delicious. The cabbage was tender and the essence of the truffle was not overpowering at all as it sometimes can be. Hassan also gave us a complementary eggplant starter. This, for me, was the star of the entire show. The combination of greek yoghurt and the spices on the eggplant produced just the most playful combination of flavours. For mains, we had the lamb meat with feta cheese and yet again, it was full of flavour. I usually go for medium rare but Hassan recommended medium for this particular lamb and it did not disappoint. We were too full to try any desserts but I am sure they would have been equally delicious.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at DUO Gastrobar, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, The presentation was equally impressive, The ambiance of the venue was perfect for a relaxing evening out. Had a lunch in duo, nice place with not bad service Food is overall good, maybe only salmon stater was a disappointment a bit, as overall salmon itself was very good and fresh but dressing was too salted and I felt no truffle there :( Atlantic cod was good, as well as deserts, esp coconut with raspberry Valet parking is also there Overall good experience but of course not as in duo at home in spb:)

This is one of my new favourite spots in Dubai. Food is delicious and the flavours are very well picked, you can tell they put a lot of effort in creating the menu. My personal favourite is the beef tartare and also surprisingly the chicken.

DUO serves very tasty food bursting with flavors. The menu and techniques appear simple on the menu, yet every mouthful of what we ordered was exceptionally tasty and flavorful. The plating and dishes were all Instagram worthy, and the entire team of staff deserve high praise for their friendlyness, care, thoughtfulness, and willingness to make your visit memorable. We were hosted by Hassan, who turned out to be a wonderful person. He was well informed on the menu, such as the ingredients, consistency, and the best method of savoring every spoonful the correct way according to the dish we ordered. For example, he suggested that I must include a bit of vegetable in every mouthful with my Lamb shoulder dish, which was great advice as the Infusion of the heavenly sauce, crunchy broccoli, and tender pieces of meat were delectable. Having realised that we were not keen on anything sugary or a dessert after the meal, he brought over a complimentary dessert for us to share. This dessert was perfect as it wasn't very sweet but a perfect ending to the experience. The prices are also great value for the overall experience at such a high-end restaurant. It was absolutely delightful dining at this restaurant today. We were there for lunch and I must say we were pleasantly surprised! The environment exudes a sense of warmth and coziness. We weren’t frowned upon coz we walked in without a reservation. Every dish was flavorful and the presentation was on point. They gave us a complimentary dish (spiced eggplant with Greek yogurt - lip smacking tasty) as we visited the restaurant for the first time! Never in my 12 years in Dubai have I experienced this at any restaurant, it was extremely thoughtful. Special thanks to our server Hassan was so polite and friendly. We are surely going back to try more items on the menu and some cocktails !

DUO Gastrobar redefines this model with a restaurant that creates a high-end product accessible to most people in the city. They have the best quality products and have produced simple but high end everyday food that is understandable, but not trivial, with a bright taste that evokes powerful emotions. Meals for every day, which are interesting, addictive, and make you want to return to DUO again & again. They offer modern European cuisine with a slight touch of Asian influence on their menu. A constant search for new products and ideas always keeps them at the forefront of modern trends. Highly recommended.

Slightly disappointing experience overall. Some elements of the food (like the honey glazed carrots) were excellent but others (like the beef cheek) were average and some (like the runny, undercooked gougeres) were just unpleasant. Most members of staff seemed really nice with the exception of our waiter who seemed really cold but that might just be our interpretation. Overall, we left slightly unsatisfied with the quality and quantity of food, wouldn’t recommend considering there are far better places surrounding DUO.

This was my first time at Duo and I must say the simple but glamorous approach of the restaurant decor makes it so approachable, the attention to detail is incredible the waiters are also so informed and help you make a fine selection in paring ur food with drinks . The food is incredible. The sea bass and the spice egg plant are my favourite. Had the blossom mocktail was Devine. The portions are big and are made to share. Take a few friends and try the whole menu. Will definitely visit again.

A rare gem in the Dubai dining scene. The service is excellent and genuine, the food is delicious and authentic. The atmosphere feels like you are in Europe. The prices compared to the quality offered is very rare in Dubai. Nowhere in Dubai you can get a very high quality beef tartar for 50 aed, main courses are mostly 65-70 aed unless you opt for a rib eye, with these prices you may think the food would be average but that’s far from the truth. This place really is perfect on every front. Our server was very friendly; one of our main courses didn’t arrive on time with the other main courses and without even asking, they removed it from the bill. Will definitely be telling all my friends about this place and visiting again

I am genuinely impressed. The food was just extremely good, one of the best I have had in Dubai. Green salad and mushroom orzo are must try! Also the prices are so reasonable! Really highly recommend. I came with my 2 vegetarian friends and we ordered only vegetarian options and all of them were absolutely delicious even for non vegetarian me. Bravo!

Overall food is good, some dishes were over cooked (orzo, gnocchi) but not critical, some dishes are specific and not for everyone. Cocktails are tasty. Prices are attractive for Dubai. But service is the point to improve. Two dishes and tea were forgotten and included as complimentary in the bill. Also they included not our dish in the bill and marked it as complimentary as well.

Started with a bit of a surprise to see valet parking being charged but found free street parking close by. Food and the very friendly and knowledgeable staff more than made it up! Great to see a restaurant where you can feel the passion of the chefs and waiters. Only worry is if they can keep it up and not have other staff and different experience in 6 month. I recommend visiting Duo Gastrobar 🩷 An excellent restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere, exquisite menu and good service. We visited both for breakfast and dinner, and the food was always prepared to perfection. For breakfast, I recommend trying the potato pancake with turkey, a very tasty sauce. For dinner the absolute top for me is the Atlantic cod, cooked to perfection. I also recommend veal cheeks, very tender meat. Finish the dinner with a light dessert of coconut cream, almond sponge cake and raspberries. It's very very tasty. Good coffee, especially cold drinks like bumble or passion fruit cold brew. A huge plus is that there is valet parking, you don’t have to go far. The restaurant has been awarded the Bib Gourmand Michelin award.

A good place to taste semi-gastro dishes. The prices are fair and the quality is there. Special mention for the beef tartare with parmesan mousse. In terms of atmosphere, it's relaxed but maybe too much because there's a lot of noise from the customer side, bordering on pubs (at least the evening I went there). Just because of this I don't think I'll repeat my visits regularly. The negative is the parking is not practical.

I love this restaurant for breakfast or lunch-dinner. Always perfectly prepared dishes. My favorites are Atlantic cod and beef cheeks with puree. Dessert - coconut cream with raspberries is simply top. I definitely recommend visiting.

I’ve been there more than once, the location is super, the interior is nice, the service is good, but as for the food, this is not the first time that the wow effect and love don’t arise. The duck is a bit dry, the octopus is tough, the zucchini flowers have too much breading... no berry tea. I’ll come back again if I happen to be hungry, but I definitely won’t go there on purpose.
