Decent place. Good attentive staff. I got a wagyu steak and it was nothing to write home about, wings and calamari were good but both came with sweet lemon dressing which was probably my mistake for getting two similar tasting dishes. Cocktails at the end were good. Would go back!

It's not cheap, even by Dubai standards, but the food is very good. Plenty of people in there Saturday night when we visited. Staff were nice enough. If you like a steak this place is for you. Plenty of different steak options and when you make your choice your unlikely to be disappointed.

Hunter & Barrel was on my list of restaurants to try in Dubai, and it has now moved to the top of my starred places list. The steak was amazing—juicy and enjoyable—and the cocktails were expertly prepared. The interior decor is stylish, and Maricel provided nice and attentive service. It is a bit pricey, but you have to pay for quality!

Hunter and Barrel - Emirates hills Easy access. They have free visitor parking. Very stylish interior design, comfy and cosy. We tried fillet angus medium well, it was very juicy. Kids menu chicken was very tasty too. The menu is pretty varied, many options to choose from. The staff was super attentive and nice. Definitely recommend and will come back soon!

I love this place because it feels warm to the soul. The natural wood gives it a stress-free relaxing vibe. The food was great and service fine. We tried the cauliflower croquettes. They look like mozzarella sticks and take delicious. Their baby potatoes side was delicious. I had the angus filet. It was a good choice. There were a few fibers, but the meat was great. I wouldn’t mind going back.

So Hunter & Barrel is one of my favorite places for steak, the dedication to quality and consistency is what that keeps taking me back, and also their meals are designed to be family friendly which is rare at steak houses. They’ve won several awards over the years and keep winning more. Today it was just the two of us, it was Sunday afternoon we wanted to have a relaxing meal, and we’ve never been to this branch, it’s located inside the Vida, facing the emirates hills, just please take note the entrance is a bit tricky. Also as always I advise bookings, and this venue is licensed. Now for starters, there’s a 3 cheese dip(image below ) which comes with warm pita bread. We absolutely love this, appose to the traditional starters, from which the wings, Caesar’s salad and also the buratta are great. For mains, you’ve the options of burgers, pasta and also a selection of chicken dishes if you’re not keen on the steak. For steaks the selection is carefully curated, there’s wagyu, angus from different cuts, different origins, different times aging and blood measure. We ordered “feast for 2”, it’s coming with one skewer of chicken, one rump steak and also lamb cutlets, one side of chips & salad. This is a great selection with an excellent price. It says for two but I think two adults and one child can easily share it. The lamb cutlets were grilled to perfection. The chicken are thighs and are equally good to. The rump steak is an excellent choice for those who aren’t keen on eating something too lean, rather soft and packed with flavor. Save room for desserts, the pavlova and also the pain per du is very good.

Had a company dinner here. Loved the ambiance and the service but was not that found of their menu. However, that being said I sought to enjoy their steak and fried squid. Lights were a bit dim for my liking but I think it is to make the atmosphere a bit causal dining? Not sure. Background music, too, was loud that we could not hear ourselves talk. In all a good place to take a date too due to the ambiance.

Tomahawk has to be one of the best in Dubai! Cooked medium rare - was juicy and well made. The smokiness was just right. Order: Sharing platter, Tomahawk steak, 2 bottles of red wine 🍤🥩🍷 Service: good! We booked for outdoor seating but we ended up changing our mind and asked for indoor - unfortunately, they were fully booked for indoor and couldn't change our slot, this was not their fault but a reminder for those wanting either in/outdoor seating to be sure that you want those seating arrangements. We ended up being warm due to the wine so it turned out fine. Overall, we didn't get to interact with the waiters that much but we had no bad experiences. Atmosphere: pretty and sleek. Outdoor seating is great, better when it's a bit cooler. If that's not your thing, the indoor seatings are also quite nice. Toilets are well maintained too. Would recommend this restaurant for high quality steak and we'll definitely be back 😌

This is my absolute favorite spot for a great steak and an even better atmosphere. The food is always top-notch, but what keeps me coming back is the incredible staff. From the moment I walk in, everyone greets me with such warmth, it feels like visiting old friends. I usually sit at the bar, as I often dine alone, and Midhun always goes out of his way to make me feel comfortable and at home. His attention to detail and genuine friendliness turn a simple meal into a memorable experience. Honestly, without the amazing team and Midhun, I wouldn’t visit nearly as much. They’ve created something truly special here!

Hunters and Barrel is a culinary haven that promises an unforgettable experience! The warm lighting, rustic decor, and soft music in the background create a vibrant setting. Every plate is a masterpiece with melt-in-your-mouth wagyu beef or chicken. Best oyster mushrooms! George (manager) extremely helpful for anything. Outdoor terrace so relaxing! My fav place in the city!

Lovely steak house with friendly staff and a wonderful decor. The starters were impressive and different making a good introduction to our mains. Our steaks were cooked to our wishes we had the rump steak and the ribeye. What we liked was the variety of options for different meat cuts and dishes and the fact that everything was very reasonably priced. Highly recommended, we plan to visit again to sample some more of their menu options.

Cosy, quality and stylish! The Hunter & Barell is a bit off the hotspots at the Emirates Hills. But it is still easy to reach by car. When it comes to the interior design, it's very stylish and fits the concept of the restaurant to a tee. Not only does the restaurant impress with the excellent quality of the food, it also offers a good selection of wines. Highly recommended!

Amazing experience, great service and top quality food. The pictures speak for themselves. We had the croquettes and buratta for starters. Lobster fettuccini and the wagyu ribeye for mains (with delicious sides). The waiter, Eco, made the dining experience so good, he made good recommendations, provided a great service and overall a joy. I will recommend this place many times and hope Eco gets a big raise.

Great steak house located near Emirates Hills and the Meadows. Prices are very reasonable for a high quality steakhouse. I highly recommend the goat's cheese salad, spicy calamari, edamame for starters and to be honest we never ordered anything other than the 1.3kg tomahawk for the main (more than enough of 2 people) and at 550 aed you can't go wrong. They have a great beer selection too, outdoor seating and friendly staff. If I had to pick on anything it would be that the valet service will cost you 20aed.

Great aussie steak place in Dubai. Went with friends for my birthday dinner. Enjoyed the selection of wines and meats. The ambience was good and service excellent. The food was great. Although, the only downside to the evening was a bunch of rather loud guests in the corner who seemed to have completely lost their social etiquette and management made no effort to quieten them. I live nearby, so I visit this place often. For appetizers, I like the burrata salad, but I would say that the selection of appetizers is not large. It's strange that the steakhouse doesn't have tartar or carpaccio. We tried different steaks many times, each time very tasty and satisfying. Good choice on the children's menu and overall very child friendly. The waiters know the menu well and are friendly. Depending on the weather, it is pleasant to sit both inside and on the terrace.
