I went after many years,but the food remains the same.We had thali and it was 😋 delicious.

Cheap and amazing place for a thali. The food is always fresh and tasty, the staff is polite and friendly. For us, It is a place to go when you are tired after having a super busy day at work and want a quick home like meal without getting into the hassle of cooking and doing the dishes. Overall, it is a fantastic place for proper gujrati thali as you would expect and that too at very reasonable price. Highly Recommended!!

Just one word.. Amazing!!! Food is homely, very tasty and easy on stomach.. You will not feel bloated after a hearty meal. People are very friendly and attentive while serving.

Geetar restaurant was like a home for us when we were in Sharjah from 2008 to 2014. Amazing food and very warm staff. I just returned to UAE after 5 years and went to Geetar restaurant to find that it was broken to the ground. Luckily I stumbled upon a google maps review and understood that it had been shifted near behind to bank street and the new name is Meena restaurant. I was happy to the owner and the food tasted the same as before. Unfortunately missed all the old people who served there.

I was craving for Gujarati food,chanced upon a reel on Instagram. A prayer answered 😊 We were lucky to get parking right in front of the restaurant, loved the food,the price,the place,the service,all 5 star.

Gujarati Thali is good and service is amazing, lots of variety, little spice but nice. Unlimited thali and lassi for 15 Dirhams. Have to pay extras for sweet items THIS RESTAURANT CLOSED DOWN DUE TO DEMOLITION OF THE BUILDING THE OWNER PARTNERS HAVE SPLITS AND ONE OF THE PARTNERS HAS OPENED A NEW BRANCH BUT ALL STAFF AND COOK HAS CHANGED

Sharjah's oldest and one of the best vegan restaurant. Many prominent celebrities from India makes it a point to visit this restaurant, when they visit UAE. Serves Gujrati cuisine. Thali's are one of the best with Poori, chapati aswell as rice. The chas drink is complimentary. You can have a unlimited thali in 12 AED. Samosa, bhaji(veg fritters), jelebi and Dhokla are hot sellers. The tea is also fantastic.

Sad News.. Geetar closing their services 31 Dec 2017 due to building getting demolished. I visited Geetar last saturday.. and saw the board from Management.. they have a legacy of serving 42 YEARS in UAE. Thanks all staffs, chef, Management. All the best for thier future plans..
