It's a beautiful building, surrounded by parks and picnic spots which are worth exploring before you go shopping at the Souq. I would g more for the architecture, the experience and the surrounding area than the shopping, however it is popular with tourists and you can find curios and gifts here.

The souq has mostly modern jewellery, watches and clothing, while the little stores upstairs sell a variety of items such as gold and silver jewellery, pashminas, rugs, traditional coffee pots and home ornaments. You can find few coffee shops and eateries around. Plenty of parking space is available.

Amazing place. Really amazed by the architecture of the place. Loved it. And the view outside the souq is magnificent. You can just sit there for hours in the garden, looking at the lake and big Ferri wheel on the other side of the lake. One also has lots of shopping options as well inside the souq. Must go to place when in Sharjah.

This is located in Sharjah. One of the best traditional places to visit occupies two long parallel buildings connected by indoor bridges. This is a best place to buy modern jewellery, watches and local and international clothing; upstairs is more regional flair, with rugs, pashminas and curios from the Arab world. Visit in the evening, when the place fills with locals.

The building structure is an attraction itself due to unique architectural design. The place is very quiet without a big crowd, which gives the shopper an ample space and time to look and select for the wanted item. The place has two buildings. One sells mainly gold jewelries and the other sells perfumes, clothes and a variety of souvenir items. It is worth visiting the place which is highly recommended for Tourists, and residents as well.

Traditional ambiance. You can feel nostalgic while walking through the old building and shops. It's quite sad though even in the weekends there are less people shopping, as the life gets more advanced and people choose to shop in new malls and online stores.

My favorite market to go and buy gold , many shops are there but make sure to negotiate hard and to know the price of gold and also the making price , if you didn't consider this advice you might end up paying more than you should. Also having silver diamond and other accessories. Inside there is also a place to drink tea and some snacks. Enjoy.

Blue souk is situated in the Al Majaz area of Sharjah. It is separated into 2 sections, one side is the gold Souq and the other is abayas and hijabs. Blue Souq is one of those must visit places in Sharjah. The souk is also really near to the Al Majaz waterfront area. Paid parking is available.

Great place for purchasing gold, silver, fabric, and carpets (on first floor). This place remains with its authentic original atmosphere and design. Always packed with locals and tourists alike. There are spaces to pray and cafeterias to boost your energy.

It's quite tricky to get there because the traffic is a bit heavy around the area. Paying for parking took us a while because we aren't from Sharjah. We walked around the whole place and the shops are all so similar that it's pretty confusing and monotonous. There is one antique shop that was pretty cool and had the most versatile items.

I thank Mr. Yaqoub for the distinguished service he provided. He presented it to me with a smile, welcome and hospitality. The location is the Emirate of Sharjah.
