Reviews of Consulate General of Pakistan, Dubai
The process for my passport renewal,
I went for was handled efficiently and transparently. The staff patiently guided me through the steps, ensuring that I understood everything. I appreciated their willingness to answer my questions and address any concerns I had. Despite the busy environment, they managed to provide personalized attention, making me feel valued.
What stood out most was the sense of responsibility and care shown by the team. They worked diligently to ensure that my documentation was accurate and processed in a timely manner. The entire experience reflected a high level of professionalism and dedication to helping visitors.
I left the embassy feeling extremely satisfied and grateful for their efforts. Such positive interactions reinforce trust in the services provided and make a significant difference.
I am happy to say that my PAKISTAN EMBASSY has exceeded my expectations, and I deeply appreciate their assistance.
Seems like it is a constant theme for any Pakistani embassy for the computer systems to crash not once but multiple times during the day. And their staple reason reason for delay is the shortage of passport papers to print new passports - it blows my mind to believe that we have come to this level of incompetence.
The staff though is very helpful and cooperative . They could increase the number of photocopy machines to avoid queues but that would not defeat the purpose of overcrowding and streamlining the enrire process.
There is lack of ventilation and air-conditioning is at the minimum. The consulate does provide a number of services including police clearance apart from the obvious. There is a working ATM available and there is a small canteen for the people who are waiting.
Parking is a issue and try to be there at the earliest to be done on time.
Had to renew my my family's passport, got done under an hour thanks to the great service offered for families. The lady on counter 5 was very helpful and fast and made the process seamless. However the overallspace is limited making it overflow with people and very limited space to sit and maneuver around. As a single male this would have surely taken a few hours. Lines on the photocopier machine were extensive and slow hence make sure to get your paperwork done prior to your visit.
I was going to Pakistan when my passport expired. I went to renew it, but after two months my passport was gone. But in 15 days my passport
arrived. I am very happy because of that. Now I am very happy with your service. Keep providing such service and keep making our country famous.
Procedure for Attesting Marriage and Birth Certificates at the Consulate General of Pakistan in Dubai:
Upon arrival at the Consulate, please note that paid parking is available at the back of the building for your convenience.
It is advisable to bring one photocopy of your marriage or birth certificate, along with a copy of your passport. Alternatively, photocopying services are available at the Consulate for 1 AED per copy, with a waiting time of 4-8 minutes. Please ensure to bring the original documents as well.
Upon entering the Consulate, proceed to the counter on your left to obtain a token for counter 12, where you will be required to pay the attestation fee. The fee for a marriage certificate is 20 AED, while for degree verification it is 40 AED. Counter 12 is located on the ground floor in Block C. Please be prepared to wait for your turn, and it is recommended to have the exact amount in cash or a card for payment.
After paying the fee, proceed to the attestation hall on the first floor and wait for your turn. Priority will be given to ladies.
Submit your original document, along with the photocopy and deposit slip, and wait for 1-2 hours for your name and counter number to be called. Once called, you will receive the attested documents. Please note that the waiting time may vary.
Upon receiving the attested documents, you are free to leave. The entire process, from arrival to departure, typically takes around 1 hour and 40 minutes.
I have provided these detailed instructions as a helpful guide, as I understand that accurate information can be difficult to come by. I hope this feedback proves useful to you. Thank you.
Just visited today for "Authority Letter". It was really quick and smooth process. Within 20-30mins all was done. The whole staff is very helpful and polite. Thanks to Pakistan Government for giving such great facility for the people residing in Dubai. Keep up the good work. 👍
Everything is ok staff is helpfull if you want to free rarlier please come around 5 am here and also the staff don't have change of currency because they don't have change it would be great if you have debit card the environment is good simple and easy way also very helpfull for families nowadays the process is fast
I went to Pakistan consulate bur dubai for process my newborn baby’s ID and passport, Before going, I saw a lot of negative reviews from people saying things like, “They’ll waste your time,” “This will happen,” “That will happen.” However, when I went there, I had a really, really good experience. Everything was done very efficiently, and there were no issues at all.
Especially in the collection department, Mr Asim was very cooperative. In the ID section, there was also Mr usman and Mr sarfaraz.
All three were extremely helpful. There might be others who are helpful too, but I personally interacted with these three, and they guided me very well.
Within a few days, I was able to collect both the ID and passport. Thank you very much to all of them!
It was good experience I got my job done in time but in the passport waiting area hall was not impressive especially my family feel such a smell which was irritating please if some one khow why like that shud suggest them to rectify this Thanks.
Applied for the passport and process was very smooth and they delivered the passport before committed date. I applied for normal for 10 years and time required was 2 month.
Visited this place today and it took me less than 40 minutes to get my NICOP renewal processed. Here are the tips to save your time at the consulate:
1) Set an appointment of early morning hours, say 7am or 7.15am
2) Bring old NICOP copy and passport copy with you
3) Bring AED 180 - AED 200 cash with you or else you will have to go to ATM in the corridor and you will lose your turn
4) First go to counter #6 to take the token
5) Then they will call your token number
6) Then the consulate officer will fill your application form and ask you to get it attested from any other Pakistani available in the building
7) Then you will pay the processing fee to him and then he will tell you to submit the application form and payment receipt to the counter #7
8) Counter #7 officer will tell you when to collectt the renewed NICOP card
I dealt with Mr.Nasir at the counter 3 and was blown away by his knowledge. He helped me so much with understanding various processes in a simplified way. He is exceptionally professional, very well mannered and really helpful. We need more staff like him in all government sectors.
I had an experience of applying for police clearance certificate. The dealing of consulate staff was thoroughly professional and they were very cooperative. Good work guys, maintain the standard
Helpful staff
Renew pasport in 1 hour.
Fast service is better than pak
I really appreciate, there improvement what I have seen it’s amazing. Today when I went to consulate Dubai. From taken the token till all my procedures supper fast and staff attitude was so much positive, I really appreciate and thanks to all. Keep it up the good work. Thanks once again god bless you. 😍
There was a never ending cue outside even 6am in the morning... Space inside is too small for such large number of people... Only 1 person at token counter who was not enough to tackle so many people .. these are basic things in 2024 if another person or two can he added to deal with bulk it would be nice...
Went for my passport renewal today and had a wonderful experience. Kudos to the current management. All services started 7 am to the dot and was seamless through the new token system
Word of advise for the fellow Pakistanis going to the embassy. Be kind to the staff and follow the process. Every single person in the embassy is just doing their job and is there to serve you.
Of course, there is always room for improvement. But let's not negate the progress the consulate has made.
E - Passport - If you're planning to visit the Pakistani Embassy for E-Passport Or Renewal to E-Passport from Normal Passport.

Finally got my passport within 10 days. Alhumdulillah. Great staff and quick response when you call them on landline.
Mostly there is traffic in parking lot and once you get parking use 341B code and sms to 7275 for parking as you don’t have to stand in heat for long to get your parking ticket
Friendly staff. Good service even customers are overcrowded. Every place s marked ,easy to find .
Well managed and helping staff.
Everything under one roof ( nadra, passport office, Marriage registration certificate, tcs office and birth certificate)

I am visiting the pakistani consulate for one of the document attestation. The staff work very fast and price also very reasonable.
Have some delays and management issues but overall supportive.
I had a great experience today for attestation of Degrees they really make it simple and easy for people, less queue and no Confusion.
I applied urgent passport get in 21 days include weekends.they have just 36 pages in 10 years and fees 270.i suggest go early morning 6 and get free in just 4 hours. they provide there best service,in their limited resources so kindly everyone coprate with them.
Fantastic experience just today. The lady on the phone call 2 days ago was super helpful with all instructions and what was required.
I booked an appointment and was done even before 10 minutes which was fantastic. This needs to be booked at least a week in advance to get slots.
Best experience I've had while getting a passport made so far.
Clean and tidy place and helpful people across the board. Keep up the good work!
It's interesting how there hasn't been any progress here despite the passage of 16 years since my last visit.
The current state is identical to what it was back then – no organized queues, lack of guidance, and even the staff at the counters seem unsure of the numbers displayed on the screen. It's amusing that they have to shout for the next number.
Fortunately, if you're accompanied by a woman, the process is expedited.
However, if you're a man visiting alone, it can be challenging.
Hopefully, there will be positive changes in the conditions here in the future.
I pray for progress in our country, and I hope that the next time I visit, improvements will be evident. InShaAllah
They are super efficient. I reached 7:50am to apply for passport renewal for my son and myself. We were done with the delivery at home counter by 8:20am. The staff was courteous and helpful throghout, starting from the entrance guard. Felt like the warmth of home. Good job Pakistan

Mashaallah I wanted to share my recent experience at the Pakistani Consulate in Dubai. I visited the consulate to apply for my new baby's passport and I must say it was a very well-organised and professional experience. I was pleased to see that everything had improved since my last visit.
I was particularly impressed with the service provided by all the staff. They were all very helpful and made the process smooth and hassle-free. 😊
Thank you for your wonderful service.
After a long time, I went to see pakistan consulate and feel really good that now it is easy to get passport renewal and ID cards.
"I had a great experience at the Pakistan Consulate in Dubai. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous throughout the visa application process. They guided me efficiently and answered all my questions. The consulate was well-organized, and I received my visa in a timely manner. Overall, it was a smooth and pleasant experience."
I went to make Power of Attorney for my brother to use on my behalf and all process was completed in 1 and a half hours including Printing, making of Power of Attorney, Attestation and then took me 10, 15 mints to TCS from the same Consulate. Was quick process and all procedure was smooth, no hindrance of any kind.
Really appreciated the method of communication and interpersonal skills,
I go for my degree equivalency i have all my complete documents set except university fees payment, after payment to university all the process just take 20 to 30 minutes.
Again really appreciated 👍
The services have improved a lot . I recently got my CNIC and passport and my wife's passport renewed. Today i went to renew my daughters passports and a new CNIC for my new born baby. It just happened in minutes. Wonderful service. Previously the services and crowd management wasn't that good.
I have good experience at the counslaet. Earlier there were some issues regarding the dealing with public. But I was amazed when I visited today. Its a huge change and it really appreciated. Thanks for the change. Keep visiting and enjoy the services. ☺️
Pakistan consulate have improved their services dramatically. Its just a all new place. Customer care service is much better. No queue at all.i just renewed my passport in 15 minutes.
Today I went to the Pakistani embassy, and everything was fine. The staff was very nice and cooperative. But one thing was a little difficult for me to understand. When I went to the counter and asked about the urgent passport, they told me that the passport will arrive in 20 days. But when I paid the fee and received the receipt, it was clearly written that the urgent passport will arrive within 5 days. Then when I went to TCS to pay the fee, it said that it will take a month to get the new passport, although from where you get the paper, it is clearly written by the government that the new passport will be issued within 5 days. Passport will be found. The counter was saying 20 days and TCS was saying 30 days, this discrepancy seemed a little strange to me and didn't feel right.
I am here in Dubai, UAE 🇦🇪 I am...
In Pakistan, to make passport for children, N.O.C is required from the father's side. For this, attach a copy of Mother and Father's passport and Emirates ID, along with a copy of FRC, B form and Birth certificate, where you will be given a letter for typing. Then bank fees 40 AED have to be deposited here. Then upstairs counter 3 per year papers are collected.
Good service
What was the urgent 180 fee applied for renewal on 9th MAY?
Or today I got my passport
