Al Maried Fish Market in Ras Al Khaimah is a true paradise for seafood lovers! Once you chose your meat. Right across the market there are people cooking at spot preparing your meat fresh for you. Either you go to very high end restraunt and get the top quality fresh sea food with excellent taste. Or otherwise this fish market is the place to he where you can buy fresh and get it cooked by the local chef 👨‍🍳 *please note if you don't find fresh on the display. Request for it, if it clicks with the seller he can take out the fresh from the back

nice place to visit. many fish mongers selling all sorts of sea food delicacy. you would have to bargain a lot though as their first price is always highest and you can get over 50% less if you know how to negotiate. Parking is a bit of a hassle though but overall a good place to find some seafood

I visited evening time and some occasions I felt the fish was not so fresh .Vegetables are available under same roof .Parking is plenty .Negotiation indeed .Don’t purchase immediately .Make a full round , check the prices with each and every shops then take a decision .Prices obviously lower than malls and hyper markets .

This market is very popular is Ra's al khaima maris area. So many shops other than fish also also available here . Dates of good quality can be buy here. Fresh fish and chicken can be availed here easily. Private Taxi services are available to this area.

Fresh fish is available in the afternoon/evening. My recommendation: sheri fish. Buy it, let it clean for 2 - 3 AED outside and let it cook or grill. Behind the market also outside there is a row with locations. The restaurant on the left side prepares for you the fresh bought fish. We couldn't find this cooking place at first because it's signed only in Arabic language but later our taxidriver showed us the place. You can go directly to this restaurant with your fish, they clean it aswell for you. We made this expirience at the Ajman Fish Market and it was amazing. But I think, the Ajman Fish Market is better for this, there is everything under one roof (buying, cleaning, cooking) and even there are places for sitting and eating. In RAK is everything more simple. And because the fish selling place is located in a big closed hall, it smells more here.

Lots of fish, crabs, prawns, lobster. No mussels or scallops here for your info, RAK is banned from selling/catching. I noticed prices are cheaper at opening time. At around 4pm it increases.

A very remarkable fish market, take fresh seafood and they cook it for you on the second floor. 1 kg of king prawns 35 dikhrams, 1 piece of lobster 20 dikhrams, fish on average 30-40 dikhrams per 1 kg, on the second floor they will prepare this for you for 25 dikhrams, plus tea, rice and vegetables

A fish market needs maintenance and proper attention inside the store itself, for example, such as the correct arrangement of fruits and vegetables. The place is supposed to be healthy. Supervision is supposed to check these places. I hope that the dress code will be uniform in all fruit and vegetable stores, and the place will be organized. Nice market, fresh fish. When you see a tourist, prices are multiplied by 2. So I strongly recommend bargaining. The assortment of fish is great, there is seabrim, barracuda, cuttlefish, various shrimp, crabs, flounder, tuna and even shark. There is an option to “clean fish” or shrimp. Cost 5 AED. The speed of cleaning is amazing.
